Meaning Of Altar

The altar of God is the place where God has stepped His feet on and is surrounded by the Hosts of Angels and Saints of heaven. The same altar is the throne of God.

In ancient time, during the time of Holy Moses, the altar was built with stones. The stones are usually of the same size and shape. They are naturally round or square. They are selected from the midst of stones.

The altar of God is the altar of God. Do not call the it, altar of stone or altar of wood, because stones or wood are used in building it.

Where does God stay inside the temple?

Whenever God comes down from heaven, He steps His feet at the altar. Therefore, the altar is the place where God has stepped His feet. Inside the temple, God stays at the altar.

Likewise, the son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, do stay at the altar.

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. 2 Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one cried to another and said:

"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Hosts;

The whole earth is full of His glory!"

Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. Revelation 4:4

The Angels Stand Round The Altar

Where do angels stay inside the temple?

The Angels of God stay around the altar. They stand round about the throne of God, as recorded in several portions of the bible.

Different Types Of God’s Altar

1. Holy Of Holies

This is the place where the Ark of Covenant is safe kept. The Ark of God is also called the Ark of covenant. Above it, and between the two Cherubim, is the mercy seat. People are not allowed to enter the Holy of Holies. Even ministers of God are not allowed to go in there.

2. The Altar Of Presence

The Holy of Holies also refers to the space behind the altar, where the Altar of Presence is set, for the Holy Trinity. This altar usually has three seats, which have the same size, the same shape, the same colour and the same spacing – equal spacing. Each seat with a side stool, with all the side stools having the same size, the same shape, the same colour and the same spacing – equal spacing.

Nobody should be passing behind the altar – except the head. The reason is that people are not perfect enough to touch God Almighty. Instead of passing through there, and God is angry, it is better not to pass at all – that place is the Holy of Holies. There is nobody perfect, unless you the head. Any day you want, you can open that place, when you want to offer incense. Only you should be offering incense there – that place is Holy of Holies. Only one person shall be entering there. Not everybody goes in there, to inconvenience God the Father. Instead of going in there, let them stay here to offer the incense.

Can the table be shifted to create more space?

Son of man, nobody goes in front of God Almighty, and nobody goes, stands, behind Him. He is not a person who is approached very closely. God has being merciful, but people inconvenience Him. Today that you have known this fact.

3. Altar Of Incense

This is where incense offering is burnt for God Almighty. At the beginning of the DivineBase, there was no altar of incense, because the ministry does not have the money to build one now. Therefore, the person bearing the incense stands on the Blood of Jesus. The Blood of Jesus is usually sprayed on the ground for the bearer to stand on.

4. Altar Of Life And Victory – The Altar Of Show Bread

This is where bread and wine are displayed for God Almighty. The bread refers to the body of Jesus. That is why it is called the bread of life. The wine means the Blood of Jesus. Hence it is called the wine of victory.

5. Altar Of Radiance

On this altar is displayed seven burning candles, called the Menorah.

6. Altar Of Burnt Sacrifice

This is the altar, usually in an open place, where burnt sacrifice is offered to God Almighty.

7. Altar Of Ministration

This is the altar usually found inside the churches, ministries and fellowships. It is usually in the front of the congregation. From this altar, the men of God minister to the congregation.

8. Altar Of Readiness

This is where everything, whether materials, offerings or vessels, needed for prayers and worship are set ready for use. They must be available and ready for use, before time. The practice of running about to get things ready when prayers and worship have started is never allowed.

9. Altar Of Preparation

The materials, offerings and vessels used for prayers and worship are not handled anyhow, any time or anywhere. The altar of preparation is for washing vessels, getting things ready. From this altar the ready materials, offerings and gifts are moved to altar of readiness, before prayers and worship start.

10. Altar Of Sanctification

This is called the laver at the time of Holy Moses. This is usually at the gate or entrance, for sprinkling holy water. The use of this altar is compulsory.

11. Side Table

This is a side table dressed like an altar, for the women to use during prayers and worship. It is not an altar, because women are not allowed to go near the altars of God.

Explanations About Altar Of Burnt Sacrifice

Come up to heaven, and see. Now and here, you are being told what to do, so that it shall be well with you.

Have you understood what is said?

Build for me an altar for burnt sacrifice.

Have you built for God the Father in heaven a place for offering burnt sacrifice? Not yet built as it should be.

The Altar Of Burnt Offering

DivineBase shall build an offering hearth, a box, for offering burnt sacrifice. It shall have rings on the opposite sides, for carrying it in and for bringing it out, using poles. A special place shall be prepared, built, for safekeeping it. After packing it, curtains shall be used to cover it.

Burnt Sacrifice

If you know that you have ever brought a ram for burnt sacrifice to God, come out. Whether the offering was a cow or a goat, come out. That is if you alone did so.

Three persons came out.

Son of man, do you know that your people, your congregation and humanity, are ignorant?

You do not know that it is in burnt sacrifice that lies the main blessings of God. In God’s great feast, only three persons offered burnt sacrifice.

God said that if your family cannot finish eating one ram, it has to join with another family, to finish eating one ram. That was not what they did. One ram was not enough for one family, yet more than one family joined to eat it.

Son of man, there is something called burnt sacrifice. It is not eaten, but it is completely burnt as offering to God Almighty. If you congregation, if humanity, want a great and special blessing, go and offer burnt sacrifice to God, because the fragrance, the aroma, is pleasing Him.

The congregation are waiting for the time when money shall be flowing. You do not know that it is when you do not have, that little offering you make that brings blessings, favours, success and prosperity.

When I went to Medina, what did I go there to do?

Did you not see that immediately I got there, I started fetching water and started working?

What are you people waiting for?

The moment I met the two girls, I started drawing water for them, and I started working, because I knew that I had nothing. There is nothing like what you gained by your personal efforts. Such a possession is very important.

They are making efforts. Ask the congregation, ask humanity, is there any day that they do not cook? They cook and eat.

And they cannot, for once, offer burnt sacrifice to God?

If you know all the debts that you are owing God Almighty, pay all, so that your mansions in heaven shall be big and beautiful, so that at last, you shall not complain that nobody told you how to get magnificent mansions in heaven.

Many souls already in heaven do not know how to put their hands and legs – they do not know how to wear their dresses. Even, they do not know how to open their mansions. All the things about the spirit of God, about the Holy Spirit, they know nothing.

Many are just staying in heaven, holding their jaws with their hands. They do not know where to start. They have got their mansions, but they do not know how to open their mansions and enter in, because all that they should have done on here on earth, they failed to do so. They move up and down, they move about naked. They look at themselves, and look at others wearing dresses. They do not know what to do, until they grow in spirit to qualify. Nobody will go to teach them how to wear dresses. They shall grow and grow, until they attain the necessary spiritual level and ability to wear their dresses by themselves.

In heaven, what is being shouted always is Halleluyah, Hossanna and the Most High. The angels that are coming down to the earth and returning to heaven, nobody has time to know whether you are wearing dress or not. Nobody wants to know whether you are naked or not, because everything being done in heaven is spirit. The spirit of God pervades, abounds, everywhere. His great love and blessings…

The way you hold paper here on earth, nothing is done in such a way in heaven.
